Understanding Our Pay Gap

While our gender pay gap largely reflects the similar level of representation between both men and women across management and other levels within the organisation, women are receiving a slightly higher average than the men.  This is mainly due to the fact that the proportion of women to men in the organisation is higher.

The bonus gap suggests a higher proportion of men received a bonus compared to women. Again this data is skewed by the fact that there are a higher proportion of men in leadership roles withing the organisation.  Interestingly on further investigation if was actually found that  among those who did receive a bonus, the women’s average bonus payments were 6% higher than men’s.

Our Commitment and Actions

We are committed to maintaining equal gender pay across our organisation and building a more balanced workforce.  To achieve this we benchmark all roles annually against peer review guidelines available for our sector, thus ensuring consistent and fair criteria are applied to all employees pay.  Future steps are being taken within the organisation with regard to bonus transparency and we are working on developing a weighted performance related system, that ensures our employees know what bonus to expect and how it can be achieved.  We believe that by applying open and fair procedures consistently we can continue to grow a strong team of highly skilled and motivated people.

Declaration

I confirm that the data and information reported here are accurate and have been calculated in line with the requirements of the Gender Pay Gap Reporting Regulations.
