Founded in 1997 by Dermot and Noreen Scanlon, Serosep are delighted to be celebrating 25 wonderful years in business. Having started as a small distribution company, Serosep are proud to announce that we now employ over 100 people in our Irish and UK operations and as a result of continued expansion into new and emerging markets, we are currently recruiting an additional 20 people for our Limerick Headquarters.
As we all know, 25 years in business is no small feat, and as such Dermot and Noreen wanted to thank all the Serosep staff for all their hard work and dedication over the years so we were all treated to a very special day out to celebrate!
Festivities began in the stunning Savoy Hotel Limerick where we were well looked after with the most delicious lunch! And where would any corporate event be without the wonderful James Sexton of #HIYA entertainment in charge of the day! James helped organise a fantastic day of fun and games, beginning with Sean de Burca on piano followed by the wonderful Jack Wise illusionist (I think we actually had pains in our jaws from laughing, thanks Jack!), and then we ended the evening with a very entertaining casino night… thank goodness we weren’t using real money, I don’t think any of us will be heading for vegas anytime soon! But the night didn’t end there, we had a surprise visit from local limerick band Hermitage Green….. What a great end to a great day!
As a family owned and operated business, Dermot wanted to make sure our families were also included in the festivities! Our family fun day treated both adults and kids alike to the beauty of science and a tour of our new facilities here in limerick! We had demonstrations on how to use dry ice in lots of fun and exciting ways and of course a lesson on the science behind slime making! After all, we are trying to encourage kids into the world of #STEM and what better way to do it than to show them first hand! Lots of ice cream was also had of course!!
Here are a few snaps of the night, highlighting just some of the laughs that were had! Thanks Dermot and Noreen for a great weekend!
