What a day at ICMS 2026! 💙
On Tuesday, 8th September, we were delighted to welcome delegates from around the world to the Limerick Strand Hotel for Serosep’s bi-annual International Clinical Microbiology Symposium (ICMS).
It was a fantastic day of learning, discussion and connection, bringing together the clinical microbiology community to explore some of the challenges, developments and opportunities shaping laboratory diagnostics today.
A huge thank you to all of our speakers, who delivered an excellent and incredibly varied programme, and to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversations throughout the day.
A very special thank you to Kelly Ward, who did a brilliant job chairing the symposium and keeping such a busy programme running smoothly throughout the day.
We would also like to thank James Sexton and the team at HIYA Entertainment & Events for their support in coordinating the conference, and the team at the Limerick Strand Hotel for looking after us so well.
And, of course, a huge thank you to the wider Serosep team who worked behind the scenes to bring ICMS 2026 together. 🙏
We hope everyone left Limerick with new learnings, fresh ideas, valuable connections and most importantly, enjoyed the Serosep ICMS bi-annual conference.
Thank you for making ICMS 2026 such a success. Until next time!
Speakers: Prof. Lewis White, Dr Sudipto Das, Patrick Mulhare, Diane Martin Baez, Paul McMullen, Rhys Tancock-Jones PhD CBiol MRSB, Michael Perry, Dermot Scanlon, David Clancy, Kelly Ward (Chair)
